What we keep — and what we never collect.

FuguSwap was built around one idea: swap crypto without handing over who you are. This page spells out what that means in practice. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and AML Policy.

1. No Personal Files on Our End

We do not run a user database full of real-world identity. No legal names, no passport scans, no utility bills — we never open a KYC flow, so there is nothing of that kind to store.

You can swap anonymously in the everyday sense: no signup needed, no profile page waiting for your details.

2. What Actually Enters the System

A swap only needs what the blockchain already exposes — wallet addresses, the pair you chose, amounts, and optional refund details. That bundle exists to move this order forward, not to label you as a person we can look up later.

Behind the scenes, the same order may trigger automated checks. Outcomes of those checks stay internal; we do not share risk labels or screening results with the person who placed the swap.

3. Passing Through, Not Collecting

Servers everywhere see connection metadata — IP, browser, timestamps — while a page loads. We treat that as plumbing, not as something we file away under your name. It is not stitched into identity records because we do not keep those records at all.

4. Cookies

Strictly functional cookies may appear so the site loads and stays secure. We do not deploy tracking pixels, ad profiles, or behavioural analytics tied to individuals. Turn cookies off in your browser if you prefer; some features may stop working.

5. Third Parties

There is no personal dossier to sell or rent. If a court or regulator compels disclosure of something we happen to hold, we comply only to the extent the law demands — but routine swaps leave almost nothing personal behind.

6. How Long Things Stick Around

Order artefacts linger only while the swap is live — processing, paused, or being refunded. Once resolved, we are not in the business of hoarding years of personal history, because we never assembled one.

7. Safety Measures

Standard protections guard the infrastructure, yet the internet is never perfectly safe. Use FuguSwap knowing that absolute airtight security does not exist anywhere.

8. Requests About "Your Data"

GDPR-style access or deletion letters usually assume we hold a personal file on you. We do not. If something about a specific order is unclear, write to us — we will help within what the system actually keeps.

9. Changes

This text can shift when our setup changes. The date above marks the latest version. Worth a re-read if you swap with us regularly.
